FILTERS
Zanoni Equipamentos manufactures a wide range of filters specifically designed to work with highly corrosive products. Our products are made of 316L stainless steel (the most durable material for this type of application), which offers much greater chemical resistance than aluminum filters and much greater mechanical resistance than this type of plastic parts. What sets Zanoni apart from other manufacturers of this type of stainless steel product is the use of microfusion or aircraft welding, which increases the durability of the equipment.
Zanoni filters have two main applications: installation in the spraying system of agricultural aircraft or in the supply line of sprayers.
- Filters for aircraft: Zanoni spraying systems have two filters. One before the spray valve, to ensure proper operation of the flowmeter, and another in the center boom, as is the factory standard. The pre-flowmeter filter has a shut-off valve so that the filter element can be cleaned with the aircraft hopper full. Both models of equipment have filter elements in different sizes, which vary according to the customer's needs. Our standard is M30 mesh for the pre-flowmeter filter and M40 for the center boom.
- Line filters: Zanoni manufactures line filters for filtering chemical products. They can be customized according to their inlet and outlet (which can be 2" or 3", and male camlock, female camlock, male thread, female thread or flanged) and according to their size. The larger the filter, the longer it takes for it to clog (which restricts the system flow) and, consequently, the longer it takes to need cleaning. All filters are produced with M30 mesh as standard, but can be customized with mesh sizes from M10 to M60.
