This week we conducted the first evaluation of one of Zanoni's main projects in 2024: our new aerial fertilization and seeding system, including the hydraulic gate and solids spreader.
The work was carried out at the KSB Group, under the command of our friend Denison. The operator has been a great partner of Zanoni throughout our product line (constantly helping us to improve) and now becomes a pioneer in the country, being the first to install our set.
The research was coordinated by Agroefetiva, another great partner of Zanoni and a world reference in consulting for aerial application. The focus of this first project was to evaluate the effective swath and deposition uniformity in the spreading of granulated boron, at different flow rates, with an Air Tractor 502XP.
In addition to offering greater durability compared to other equipment available on the market, Zanoni's new technology offers the possibility of automation. With integration into the DGPS system, we will have greater precision in this type of application and greater comfort for the pilot. In addition, the hydraulic system allows for more refined control of the gate opening.
With our experience in other countries and the recent development of Brazilian agricultural aviation, we believe that there is a huge field for improving and expanding the use of aircraft in fertilization and seeding in Brazil.
