We have concluded another round in Mato Grosso, the most important granary on the planet. We were at two of the most important agricultural trade shows in the country, the Farm Show (in Primavera do Leste) and the Show Safra (in Lucas do Rio Verde).

Today, the state alone is responsible for the world production of 16% of cotton, 12% of soybeans, 5% of corn and 3.5% of cattle. If it were a separate country, it would be the third largest producer of soybeans and the seventh largest producer of beef on the planet. With a planted area of ​​12 million hectares (equivalent to the size of the whole of Portugal), the state has 58 million hectares (equivalent to the size of France) in native forest preservation areas. The economy of Mato Grosso is the one that has grown the most in Brazil in the last twenty years (three times the national average), and it is now the richest state in the country after the Federal District.

Agricultural aviation is part of this process. Mato Grosso currently has 25% of Brazil's agricultural aircraft and around 7% of the global agricultural aviation fleet. Its skies are colored by the green, yellow and blue of Ipanemas and Air Tractors. Today, the region probably has the largest concentration of aircraft on the planet, with centers of excellence for the maintenance of these machines. The hundreds of agricultural pilots in this region are at the forefront of aerial applications, developing the best technologies in the world and performing cutting-edge work.

We at Zanoni were born with an eye on agricultural aviation in Mato Grosso. Since our founding, we have been committed to being in constant contact with all operators in the state to serve them in the best possible way.
