This week we were in Asunción (Paraguay) with our friend Hugo Vergnano. Zanoni’s technical support team installed the first fire gate in Paraguay, in addition to starting the development of our line of solids spreaders.
Hugo Vergnano is part of a family that combines aviation and agriculture. His father is a pioneer of Argentine agricultural aviation, being one of those responsible for the modernization of the South American agricultural aviation fleet through AgSur Aviones. Also farmers, the Vergnano family owns properties in the Paraguayan Chaco, where they are starting an agricultural aviation operation.
His son, who for years was a pilot for Aerolíneas Argentina and was also responsible for transporting dozens of agricultural aircraft from the USA to Brazil, will be responsible for treating thousands of hectares of cotton, soybeans and pastures in the Filadelfia region, in the northern part of the country. In addition, Hugo is the first operator to have the Zanoni 13” gate (our third generation) in Paraguay, having the first Air Tractor aircraft in the region ready to fight fires.
In addition to purchasing this equipment and our complete spraying system for an AT502, the pilot is helping us develop a solids spreader specifically for use in our gates. More robust than those of other brands, this new product will also bring the traditional Zanoni durability to this line of equipment.
We appreciate your trust in our work. A big thank you also to the Helitactica team for all the technical support in Asunción and to the AgSur Brasil and Crosslands group for their many years of partnership.
