We had the opportunity to meet with our friend Juan Porello, who works alongside operator Arturo Stiefel and for AgSur Aviones. In addition to serving all Air Tractor operators in the country, Juan has been a crucial part of the after-sales for Zanoni, helping and providing exceptional support to our customers in Argentina.
We also visited our friends at Falconer, who welcomed us with an excellent barbecue at the company’s base. Roberto Tomassoni’s group, a pilot with over 30 years of experience in firefighting, has contributed to the popularization of Zanoni gates throughout South America.
In Tucuman, we visited our friends at Agroalas. Longtime friends of the Zanoni family, Santiago Seiler and his father own a large agricultural aviation operation and are also responsible for bringing several Air Tractors to Brazil with The Ferry Company.
Also in northern Argentina, we visited Aerosoluciones. Fernando Camarda, a member of a family of ag pilots and former president of FEARCA, was one of our first customers in Argentina and we always keep in touch to continue evolving with new aerial spraying technologies.
Finally, our friends at Sadenor welcomed us with an excellent lunch on the way home. José Tazzioli and his son Jesus Tazzioli operate an AT802, serving 12,000 hectares of rice fields in the province of Corrientes. They recently acquired a Zanoni gate to fight fires and disperse solids in the region.
Despite the recent difficulties faced by our brothers, the industry remains strong and with renewed hope for the next season. We thank all our partners for their trust and we reiterate our commitment to cooperating with agricultural aviation worldwide, developing the best aerial application technologies around the world.
